Applications are invited from eligible intending candidates who are citizens of India (as defined in Article 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India) in the Standard Form of Application published in Part IX of the Assam Gazette with copies of all certificates/mark-sheets from HSLC Examination and onwards duly self attested for the following post:
- ACADEMIC OFFICER (ARTS)(1 Post UR)
- ACADEMIC OFFICER (COMMERCE)(1 Post UR)
Salary:
Pay Scale of Rs.30000- 110000/- p.m. and Grade Pay of Rs.13900/- p.m. of Pay Band 4 plus other allowances as admissible under Rules.
Minimum qualification:
A uniformly good academic career having at least 2nd Class, Master Degree in Arts stream or its equivalent grade holder for ACADEMIC OFFICER (ARTS) and Master Degree in Commerce or its equivalent grade holder for ACADEMIC OFFICER (COMMERCE) from a Recognized University under U. G. C. with at least five years’ teaching experience at +2 level or above in HS Schools/ Jr College/Colleges.
Any professional training or proficiency in translating materials into Regional Language will be an additional qualification.
Adequate knowledge in computer application shall be treated as an added qualification.
Applications for the post must be supported by copies of testimonials/certificates duly self attested by the candidate accompanied with a Bank Draft of Rs.350.00 (Rupees three hundred fifty) only (non-refundable) drawn in favour of the Secretary, Assam Higher Secondary Education Council and payable at Guwahati.
Candidates in service should apply through proper channel.
Application complete in all respects from intending candidates (including those candidates who submit their applications through proper channel) must reach the undersigned on or before 30th June, 2018.
The candidates who had submitted application in response to earlier Advertisement No. AHSEC/EST/AO(ARTS)/444/201 6/1694 dated– 1.2.2016 need not to apply afresh.
