JRF in Department of Physics, Tezpur University 2018

Applications are invited for a temporary position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the DST-SERB sponsored research project entitled, “Study of the Abundance and Characteristics of Interstellar Dust” under Dr. Rupjyoti Gogoi, Assistant Professor, Department of Physics, Tezpur University.

• Essential Qualification: M.Sc. in Physics with 60% marks or equivalent grade.

• Fellowship: Rs. 25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand) only per month for the 1st and 2nd year and Rs. 28,000/- (Rupees twenty eight thousand) only per month for the 3rd year for NET/GATE qualified candidate.

• Duration: Three (03) years or till completion of the project or until further order, whichever is earlier.

• Age Limit: Candidate shall not be more than 28 years of age as on the last date of receipt of application. Upper age limit may be relaxed as per Government of India rules.
