Applications are invited with complete Bio-Data and supporting documents from HSLC onwards for the post of Principal, Barkhetri College, Mukalmua, Nalbari 781126, against regular vacant post from the interested candidates through proper channel having required qualifications, experience, norms etc. as prescribed by the Govt. of Assam and UGC guidelines.
1. Master Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) by a recognized University.
2. Ph.D. Degree in concerned /allied relevant discipline, with evidence of published works and research guidance.
3. Associate Professor/ Professor with total experience of 15 years of teaching / research/ administration in Universities, Colleges and other institutions of Higher Education.
4. A minimum of 160 API score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based performance, based on appraisal in Appendix- III required for direct recruitment of Principal of College as per Govt. of Assam guidelines.
5. A relaxation of 5% marks at Graduate and Master Degree level in both traditional and grade point system is admissible to the candidate belonging to SC/ST/Differently able categories.
6. A relaxation of 5% marks is admissible from 55% to 50% of marks to the Ph.D. Degree holders who have obtained their Master Degree prior to 19th September 1991.
7. Upper age limit is 55 (fifty five) years as on the date of application as per Govt. notification No. AHE/17/2013/3 dated 26th December, 2013.
8. As per Notification No. AHE/643/2016/12 dated 9/11/2017 published by the Director of Higher Education, Govt. of Assam in pursuance of the Assam College Employees (Provincialization) (Amendment) Rules, 2017, the term of the office of the Regular Principal shall be 5 (Five) years.
Application should be in the prescribed Proforma issued by the DHE, Assam and to be sent/ submitted to the President, Governing Body within 15 (Fifteen) days from the date of publication ot this advertisement, as per Govt. order No. AHE/643/2016/12, dated Dispur, the 9th November 2017, along with a demand draft of Rs. 2000/ (Two thousand) only drawn in favour of Principal, Barkhetri College payable at Central Bank of India, Mugdi Branch (Mukalmua). Call letters will be issued to the eligible candidates in due course of time. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates called for the interview.
