Guest Lecturer in the Department of Statistics, NEHU, Shillong 2018

A walk-in-interview will be held during August 2018 (date to be notified later) for engaging ONE GUEST LECTURER on purely temporary basis from August to November 2018 only to teach M. Sc. course in the Department of Statistics, NEHU, Shillong.

An honorarium of Rs. 1000 per lecture subject a maximum of Rs. 25000 only in a month will be paid.

Eligibility: 

  1. A good academic record with at least 55 % marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale whrever grading system is applied) at the Master Degree level in Statistics from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accrediated Foreign University.
  2. Besides fulfilling the above qualification, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accrediated by the UGC.

Notwithstanding anything contained in (2). above, candidate who has been awarded a Ph.D. degree in accordance with the UGC regulation 2009 shall be exempted from the requirement of (2).
